IES Islas Filipinas Goes International

About the school

The story of our school, a public institution depending from the Council of Education of the Community of Madrid  (Spain), starts in 1968 when it was established as the National School of Graphic Arts. Later, through the merger with another vocational school and due to the changes in labour market demands, it incorporated new professional families.

Thus, currently we provide vocational training in the following professional families:

  • Gaphic Arts (EQF levels 2, 3 and 5)
  • Administration (EQF level 5)
  • Commerce and Marketing (EQF level 5)
  • Building and Construction (EQF level 5)
  • Informatics (EQF level 5)

For information on EQF levels, clic here. For more details about concrete training courses and what our students learn in them, go to the section What students learn.

Our school is situated in the center of Madrid.
